How A High-Tech Dental Office Benefits You

Personalized Family Dentistry Services

Waterlase is a dental laser that allows Dr. Palani to utilize minimal – and in some cases, no – anesthetic and/or drills to perform many routine dental procedures. By combining water, air and laser energy, the Waterlase allows for safe use on the tissues of the mouth. Since our teeth are partially made of water, the laser can cut through the tooth by stimulating the water molecules. The laser continuously sprays out water to keep the tooth hydrated, which prevents the heat of the laser from affecting your procedure at all, giving you a virtually pain-free experience.

Short for “Chairside Economic Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics,” CEREC crowns are an efficient, highly effective way to receive a crown repair in just one visit with Dr. Palani. With this innovative treatment, we create your custom crown in our office utilizing digital impressions and 3D imaging. Palani Center for Dental Implants is a “one-stop shop” for the CEREC crown process, as every step is performed right here in our office to provide exceptional, convenient care.

This advanced cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) technology allows Dr. Palani to obtain a 3D dental image of structures beneath the surface of your teeth and gums. Our GALILEOS precision scans enable Dr. Palani to view a 3D X-ray for more precise treatment planning. In addition to being able to diagnose the cause of a patient’s discomfort, the GALILEOS CBCT machine can also plan root canal treatments and place dental implants, for more precise, less invasive procedures that make it more comfortable for the patient and allow for quicker recoveries.

Digital dental radiographs use digital X-ray sensors to assist Dr. Palani, for more precise diagnoses and treatments of patients. With a digital X-ray, Palani Center for Dental Implants can produce enhanced computer images of teeth and gums for more personalized treatment plans.
This device’s examination of the mouth to check for signs of cancer is a standard of care for Dr. Palani, in order to ensure the health and safety of your mouth before we begin treatment.
Intraoral cameras are used in assessing and diagnosing oral health concerns. This camera enables our patients and Dr. Palani to see the structures in the mouth, helping to identify any problem areas and create customized treatment plans. Furthermore, this technology aids in oral cancer screenings and in creating correct and personalized procedures for each patient.
Imagine being able to eat and enjoy the foods you love, smiling for photos again, and being proud of your healthy, beautiful smile. With Nobel Biocare implants, Dr. Palani can offer these life-changing results with minimal downtime in as little as two visits.
Our dental milling units utilize the digital impressions that Dr. Palani creates to precisely and efficiently mill restorations. Since our milling units are located in our in-house lab, patients can enjoy their restorations quickly with instant results.
As each of our patients here at Palani Center for Dental Implants require personalized solutions, our 3D printer allows Dr. Palani to create orthodontic models, crown and bridge models, aligners, retainers, restorations, and even biocompatible dental products such as splints and dentures! These 3D printers maximize precision and accuracy, making procedures much more efficient for our patients.
Created to improve function and esthetics, these provisional prostheses offer stability for the period before your jawbone is ready for your permanent dental prostheses. Shortly after your dental implant surgery, Dr. Palani will insert these provisional prostheses to create a beautiful smile, for instant results while the implants heal and the long-term full mouth restorations are created.
These state-of-the-art technologies do more than create a seamless, comfortable experience. They provide Dr. Palani with the resources to precisely customize each dental treatment to achieve the healthy, long-lasting smile you deserve.
